Matapédia Oils inc. is a small company specializing in extracting essential oils and we are located in the Matapédia Valley, Québec, Canada.
Matapédia Valley is known for it's beautiful forests and it's Salmon rivers.

Our artisan distiller, Marcel Morin, has been extracting essential oils since 1970. Having a long experience and strong passion, he continues to express his love for Essential Oils.

He Wrote :

I love extracting essential oils. I have a great passion and respect for this occupation which is something akin to alchemy. From the beginning I have always considered that the value of an essential oil depends on its purity.
An altered essential oil is no longer an essential oil and the consumer has the right to obtain a pure essential oil and that is what I produce.

All of our essential oils produced by our company are analysed by the Lasève laboratory located at the University of Chicoutimi. The results of this analysis is placed on each of our bottles.

We actually have four kinds of essential oils :

Fir : (Abies balsamea) , White Spruce (picea glauca) Black Spruce ( Picea mariana) and Golden rod ( Solidago canadensis).
