May 19, 2001 - A GAME?!?!?!?
Yes, that's right, I've finally made a good game. It's for the TI-89, and it's a surprisingly fast 3D tunnel racing game called LXXXIX, complete with a level editor and everything. The object of the game is to fly through all the rings on the course. But it's not that simple. Some of the rings are blocked and must be shot, and others can only be passed through when a separate lock is destroyed. It's reminiscent of those "pilot proving grounds" in X-Wing and X-Wing Alliance. This one's actually worthy of ticalc.org. I'll try and see if i can get it into their archives (and maybe even on the cd!) Get it here, at the Programs section. If I have time I might write it for the 83 in assembly...

May 2, 2001 - Sex and Candy
Jeez, what's with all the references to sex? I don't know. Hopefully all you guys out there (this is a predominantly, if not totally male audience, ages 14-18, mostly non-popular, right?), don't mind it. if anyone here is squeamish out there, i have quite a few 4-letter words for you. anyway, long time no see. happy may, everyone. if you ask me, april sucked. Maybe May will be better. And what better way to start off the new month than with a new program. It's a Ti-83 game, called Hangtheman. As you can guess, it's another hangman game. It's nothing incredibly special, but it sure was a challenge to program. What makes this one different from most of the others is that the puzzle can be a phrase, including punctuation, unlike the others, which only have a single word. Right now, the program only supports 2 player (one person makes up the puzzle and the other solves it). However, it is fully compatible with upcoming PuzzlePaks, which are files with 70 phrases each in them. I'll upload them here once I make them. And you can even make your own PuzzlePaks. If you do, email them to me (address below) and I'll put them up. OK, now back to all the fuss about sex. None yet, but apparently girls' interest in me has escalated. I was talking to 3 of 'em online today (not like that matters), and a sophomore girl was flirting with me today in school. Oh ho, in yo' face! OK, I'll shut up.
