My improvements on a differential from all technic pieces.
I don't remember the source but it seemed like a good idea to work on it. Mostly I changed the central axels to pins which gave it more structure and I think that this one is more balanced. Download the MLCAD *.dat here.
Notes: The blue gear is the input, and the red gears MUST not be attached to the 40t gears.
Front to back instructions will be put up tonight.
Once again these instructions are under construction so I recommend using the *.dat. Sorry.
NEWS: Working on this for a while, I have found that if you substitute the center gears with 12t bevelgears laid against each other you can trim the thickness of this by 1/2 stud. Kinda stupid, but I thought that it was cool and it took me two hours to figure that out because I had to completely build it first. Images will be coming soon.
