TUNING TIPS:

Replace all tires with Tamiya's Mini Slicks

Install ball bearings

This is the HPI RS4 Mini. It is very small (1/12th scale), yet it has a full time 4 wheel drive transmission with 4 wheel independent suspension with coil over shocks. 

The first upgrade was the installation of ball bearings to replace the plastic bushings. Ball bearings made the car faster and more durable.

The second upgrade was to replace all the tires with Tamiya's Mini slicks. This dramatically made the car very easy to handle, even with the speed of modified motors. These tires are very durable, I have run a set for over 100 times, and they are still ok.

To power the car, an HPI 12 turn motor (not included in kit), a Tekin speed controller, and a Futaba Jr. radio. Being very small, the car was very light and had a high power to weight ratio. The full time 4 wheel drive train coupled with the independent suspension makes this car handle very well, even in rough concrete pavement.

Overall this car has a very high fun factor.
