TUNING TIPS:

Install ball bearings

This is the Tamiya F1 Sauber. It is an electric car with a rear wheel drive configuration. Powered by a Mabuchi 540 stock motor, this model was surprisingly very quick out of the box.  Unfortunately the handling was very twitchy, the rear end was too loose.

The first upgrade was the installation of ball bearings to replace the plastic bushings. Ball bearings makes the car faster and more durable.

To see how fast this car can go, in went an HPI 12 turn modified motor controlled by a Tekin P12 electronic speed controller. The car was now very, very quick, estimated top speed of around 60 kph.

This car is for sale (box, manuals, friction shock, FULL ball bearings, steering servo, Mabuchi 540 motor, original tires and wheels) for only P3,500.  Contact me.
