Bodily Rebirth

Our cells are constantly wearing out, dying and being replaced by new cells, utilizing mostly new material taken in from our food.  Therefore, we have the power at our disposal to rebuild ourselves day by day from the food we eat.  Improve our food, and we improve ourselves.

Various body tissues renew themselves within the following approximate times:

Blood cells     24-36 hours
Soft tissue      12 weeks
Bone solids    12 months

Even the oldest looking body, full of wrinkles and ready to fall into the grave, is not more than 1 to 7 years old.  For in that short period of time, every cell of its structure has been changed, renewed, replaced by entirely new cells and compounds taken from the environment in which people live.

What is it that makes the skin wrinkle, the muscles and joints to grow stiff and painful, teeth to decay, hair to turn gray?  The body grows old because of defective elimination and addition of the wrong kind of materials from which to build new cells.

Furthermore, not only have we been giving the body the wrong kind of materials, but have been supplying this material in a "dead" instead of "living" state, i.e. processed, rather than fresh food.

Our bodies are built with dead, decaying materials, and manifest as decaying and dead.  Our body tissues have degenerated and have assumed the properties and qualities of the decaying material from which they have been built.
